Rob Huff, Chevrolet’s World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) race-winner, will be one of the special guests at Autosport International, Europe’s largest motorsport show, held 14-17 January 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham. The British ace, already confirmed in Chevrolet’s WTCC line-up for next season, finished fifth overall in the 2009 championship in the new Chevrolet Cruze LT, scoring three wins and nine podium finishes.

The 2010 season will be Huff’s sixth in the high profile WTCC, and promises to be his best yet. “I’m really looking forward to going to Autosport International in January,” said Huff. I am a great fan of the show, and it will be good to be there after the cracking year we had with Chevrolet in 2010. We’ve developed the new Cruze through 2009, and there will definitely be more to come from the car in 2010.”

As the Chevrolet Cruze continues to improve, Huff’s RML team is to be strengthened by the arrival of 2008 WTCC Champion Yvan Muller alongside Huff and Alain Menu. “Yvan has a great deal of experience, and it’ll be interesting to see his way of working within the team,” added Huff. “I’ve had some good, but tough, team mates before, but it will be a benefit to learn from him.”

“Rob is a young British talent that is really making his name on the world stage,” said Autosport International Show Director Ian France. “His presence will be welcome at the show which is going to be an exciting place to start to the 2010 motorsport season.”

Also attending Autosport International will be 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, former Formula One driver and commentator Martin Brundle, and double Le Mans 24 Hours winner Allan McNish.
