Top ten finish for Team Aon with Mountune Racing

Mountune Racing powered Team Aon Ford Focus ST records season best finish at the Knockhill round of the 2009 British Touring Car Championship

Mountune Racing, a part of the Performance Engineering division of Revolve Technologies, is now working with  BTCC Team Aon to supply Mountune Racing tuned Ford 2.0l Duratec Engines for the team’s Ford Focus ST.

The Mountune Racing 2.0l Ford Duratec engine offers a boost in power and performance and combined with the continued development work on the chassis has seen Team Aon driver Tom Chilton finish in eighth place in the third race at the Knockhill Round of the BTCC, recording the team’s best result of the season to date.

“We are pleased with the progress that has been made since beginning our mid-season relationship with Mountune Racing,” commented Team Aon boss Mike Earle. “We have recorded our best finish this season in only our second official outing working with Mountune Racing and look forward to further success as the relationship continues to develop.”

Further modifications and development continues on the Mountune Racing tuned Ford 2L Duratec, with three upgraded engines expected to be on hand for the next outing for Team Aon at the eighth round of the British Touring Car Championship, held at Silverstone on 30th August, 2009.
